27 Weeks-- Pregnant after Miscarriage

Hello and I'm sorry this is late but we were in Las Vegas for our baby shower and my 21st birthday YAY
Photos from the baby shower will be up on my other blog soon BUT here is week 27 *in the photos i was 27 weeks and 3 days and it was the day of the shower*

How far along?27 weeks and 3 days

Total weight gain/loss: started at 95 and now 140

Maternity clothes? Yes!

Stretch marks?  nope

Sleep: this week not being in my own bed was hard but I made it work

Best moment this week: my baby shower, and feeling him roll more :)

Have you told family and friends: yes

Movement:Yes a lot

Food cravings: since we were in Las Vegas I craved everything I can't get
were we live

Anything making you queasy or sick:Nope

How big is baby? Head to toe he is the length of an english cucumber--14.25in

Baby's body this week:baby's brain is no longger smooth and round; it's folded,
like an infant's,from all the moving baby has gained muscle tone.

Mommy's Body:pressure on your sciatic nerve can cause lower back,hip and leg pain

Sleep: ok not the best but not the worst

Best moment this week: feeling him move more and more

How big is baby?Your baby's the size of a head of lettuce!

She's still growing in the 13.6- to 14.8-inch and 1.5- to 2.5-pound range, and developing her senses, features and talents!

Baby's body this week:  Your baby's hearing is fully developed. As the baby reacts to sounds, its pulse increases.Your baby will even move in rhythm to music. Lungs are still growing but are not yet mature. Patterns of your baby's brain waves appear like a full-term newborn. He or she also has patterns of sleeping and waking.

Mommy's Body: The baby's constant movements should be reassuring. You'll be putting on weight at the rate of about 1 pound per week now. You may be feeling some rib pain as your baby grows and pushes upward on your rib cage. The pressure may also be causing indigestion and heartburn. Total weight gain/loss: I haven't taken my weight yet this week but it's around 131 start weight is 95lbs

Maternity clothes? Yes! And I need to buy more clothes 

Stretch marks?  Not yet but my tummy is very itchy 

Sleep: we went out of town this weekend so not sleeping in my bed wasn't very helpful but the last two nights being home and in my bed have felt great. Without my pillow I don't know what I would do. 

Best moment this week: getting more baby clothes 

Have you told family and friends: yes!

Movement: lots! He's a very active baby 

Food cravings: donuts,pizza,hotdogs 

Anything making you queasy or sick:  nope

Belly Button in or out? In but almost out lol 

Wedding rings on or off? my engagement ring and wedding band don't fit together anymore so I've been just wearing my wedding band until I get a chain to wear them on my neck. 

Happy or Moody most of the time: I've been very happy this last weekend. Tom and I have been very busy with going to LA and then coming home to move things around and clean up getting ready for baby boy to be here. Tomorrow is I'll be 26 weeks and also that means ONE week until my birthday yay

How big is baby?baby is as long as a celery stalk. 

Baby's body this week:even though your baby sleeps his brain is very active, baby sleeps 80% of the time, baby can recognize your voice and other familiar sounds.

Mommy's Body:breast are grownig faster now than any other time in your pregnancy, your uterus is now the size of a soccer ball,as baby continues to grow you'll feel more kicks and rolls.
